New Photoshop Action

I created my first photoshop action today that gives the photo just a little pop in color, softens the picture, and sharpens the eyes.  I think it turned out pretty well! :)

Stuff Brides Say

I found this pretty funny and if you are a bride, have ever been a bride, or have ever been around a bride, you should find this pretty funny as well.   Sorry about the language in the title, I usually try to stay away from that kind of stuff.

A Little Bit About Me :)

I thought it might be nice for you to find out a little about who I am.  Here it goes!

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Aaron, since October 2008 and no, we do not have any kids.  We have an adorable poodle named Peanut who is 13 years old and I've had him since he was a puppy.  I LOVE fall and spring time (I mean, who doesn't?).   I like to have fun and be silly, so don't expect too much seriousness when I'm taking your pictures! A few of my absolute favorite TV shows are Chuck, Psych, Big Bang Theory, and How I Met Your Mother...  as you can see, I love to laugh.  I am addicted to nail polish and I love painting my nails in all sorts of colors and patterns.  I like doing crafty things, but they take a while for me to do because I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to that kind of stuff.  I hate cooking, but I'm not terrible at it.  My husband and I like to go geocaching together... if you don't know what that is, look it up, it's tons of fun!  I love playing video games, especially games that make you think like Nancy Drew and Portal.

Well, there's my little blurb about me! Enjoy!

Why You Should Have a Trash the Dress Session?

Well, I think a better name for this is "Rock the Dress," because you don't actually have to "trash your dress.  The goal is to take some fun and artistic photos, not actually ruin your dress.  You just might get it a little dirty in the process though.

On the day of your wedding, you have a big schedule to follow.  You don't want to lose too much time on this special day taking pictures, but you also want a lot of pictures to cherish this day forever.  This is why you need a trash the dress session!  They are normally booked 2 or 3 days after your wedding so that you aren't too exhausted from all of the celebrating.

The great thing about this is that you are no longer on a schedule, you aren't nervous anymore, and you don't have to be real careful to stay neat and clean.  You can just have fun and relax! Plus, you get to wear your dress and get all dolled up again!

You can choose several locations to take your pictures.  A few suggestions might be horseback riding, at a pool, lake, or river, by a fountain, on a farm, or at a golf course. The possibilities are endless, just pick a place that might mean something to the both of you.  At the end of the session you can do something crazy if you want, like take a big jump in the lake!

Trash the dress sessions are just a great way to get the wonderful wedding pictures of just the two of you that you will cherish forever.  If you are interested in booking, please e-mail EsmarkPhoto@gmail.com.
