Why You Should Have a Trash the Dress Session?

Well, I think a better name for this is "Rock the Dress," because you don't actually have to "trash your dress.  The goal is to take some fun and artistic photos, not actually ruin your dress.  You just might get it a little dirty in the process though.

On the day of your wedding, you have a big schedule to follow.  You don't want to lose too much time on this special day taking pictures, but you also want a lot of pictures to cherish this day forever.  This is why you need a trash the dress session!  They are normally booked 2 or 3 days after your wedding so that you aren't too exhausted from all of the celebrating.

The great thing about this is that you are no longer on a schedule, you aren't nervous anymore, and you don't have to be real careful to stay neat and clean.  You can just have fun and relax! Plus, you get to wear your dress and get all dolled up again!

You can choose several locations to take your pictures.  A few suggestions might be horseback riding, at a pool, lake, or river, by a fountain, on a farm, or at a golf course. The possibilities are endless, just pick a place that might mean something to the both of you.  At the end of the session you can do something crazy if you want, like take a big jump in the lake!

Trash the dress sessions are just a great way to get the wonderful wedding pictures of just the two of you that you will cherish forever.  If you are interested in booking, please e-mail EsmarkPhoto@gmail.com.

Lightroom 3

Adobe Lightroom is a necessity for photographers. It is super easy to use. If you have Lightroom 2, you should still upgrade to LR3. It has an awesome noise reduction tool and it allows you to edit your logo on your exported pictures. It's usually $300, but it's on sale right now at Amazon for only $60. That is an AWESOME deal. I highly recommend buying this if you are in any way interested in photography. http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Photoshop-Lightroom-Student-Teacher/dp/B003Q81EL2/ref=lh_ni_t

I had a great time shooting this wedding at the Reach Resort in Key West. It was simple, yet beautiful with a fun bunch of people.
